France is the first country to introduce a standard governing the manufacture of equestrian airbags as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Pending European harmonization, the NF S72-800:2022 standard guarantees a high level of safety by establishing rigorous requirements for protective coverage, inflation speed, and impact resistance.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is the first equestrian airbag vest certified under this standard. For a size S, it reaches the required pressure and full inflation in just 98 milliseconds, surpassing the standard’s performance criteria. Beyond compliance, the FREEJUMP AIRBAG is distinguished by its ability to absorb horizontal impacts while offering outstanding protection against longitudinal impacts along the spine.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG delivers advanced protection for the neck, spine, lumbar area, sacrum, pelvis, thorax, and vital organs. Designed to be used with a certified equestrian helmet, it integrates a stabilizing neck brace that enhances spinal support and overall rider safety.

Lateral protection promotes optimal torso alignment, while reinforced coverage of the spine, pelvis, hips, and vital organs ensures superior impact absorption. For sizes XS, S, M, and L, the AIRBAG is available in two torso lengths—regular and long—to provide a precise, personalized fit.

SIZING INFORMATION 

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is offered in children’s sizes S and L, as well as adult sizes from XXS to XXL. For sizes XS through L, two torso lengths are available—regular or long (identified by the letter “T” in the size)—to ensure an optimal fit, including for taller riders. For example, a long version of size XS is labeled XST.

Children’s sizes S and L are designed for riders weighing at least 25 kg and measuring a minimum of 130 cm in height. From size XXS onward, the FREEJUMP AIRBAG is intended for individuals who are at least 1.45 m tall and weigh a minimum of 35 kg.
